2-DAY KITESURFING COURSE
Our 2- Day kitesurfing camps incorporate 10 hours of IKO certified kitesurfing lessons.
Our team at Blue Adventures believes in customer satisfaction, and our teaching technique has proven to be extremely successful. Our kitesurfing lessons are run in small groups with a student to instructor ration of max. 3:1. This way, your IKO certified kite surfing instructor can tailor the kitesurfing lessons to your individual learning needs. Step-by-step instructions and our up to date Naish kitesurfing equipment will ensure you progress easily and safely while learning this addictive sport!
Our Kite Camps are suited to beginner and experienced kiteboarders and the use of the latest range of Naish kiteboarding equipment, wetsuits, vests and helmets are included. Once you are up to board riding, the use of the latest technology 2-way Bluetooth radio helmets are also included.
We are New Zealand's leading supplier of Naish kiteboarding equipment and kite packages are available at a special rate for our Kite Camp clients.
Our Kite Locations:
Snells Beach and the Omaha estuary are within a few minutes drive from our accommodation and offer some of the best flat water kitesurfing spots in New Zealand. Find out more about our kite locations here.
ACCOMMODATION- TEPEE
Free accommodation at Tepee is included in our Kite Camps. Glamping is a a fusion of glamour and camping, where nature meets modern luxury.
Connected by wooden walkways our three tepees are set up on large circular timber platforms, hovering over native rushes and grasses.
Tepee is located a short five minute drive from Matakana Village and less than ten minutes from Omaha Beach. Surrounded by pine and native trees, Tepee's setting invites you to unwind, unplug and re-connect with nature. A true Glamping experience.
Our tents are fitted out with quality beds, duvets and pillows, pure cotton linen, luxury shower towels and solar powered LED lights. A bathroom is close by.
Using renewable and sustainable resources is a great part of Tepee.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in is at 9am on Saturday and check-out is after breakfast on Sunday. Our Kiteboarding lessons take place during the day on Saturday and Sunday.

A healthy breakfast bowl is included in your stay, for which we source organic produce from local suppliers. Barista made coffee or tea included.

A healthy sandwich is included in your daily activities.
Matakana Farmers Markets
You also have the option to join us for a coffee at the famous Matakana Farmers Markets on Saturday morning.
Dinner
There are several great restaurants in the area. A map with all of our favourite places is available in your tepee. Please note- There are no cooking facilities at Tepee.
LIGHT WIND ALTERNATIVES
Stand Up Paddleboarding
One of our light wind alternatives is our Moonlight SUP Tour, for which we use the latest technology of LED SUP systems to ensure you will have an extraordinary stand up paddle boarding experience. This is a one of a kind paddlebording ecxperiene in New Zealand- Paddle under thousands of stars while discovering the shallow and clear waters of the Omaha estuary.
Wakeboarding
Being close to the boat ramp, we will be perfectly located for wakeboarding lessons if there is no wind!
