Auckland's only IKO-affiliated Water Sports School

Owned and run by adventure-lovers Tony and Nina, Blue Adventures is recommended on Tripadvisor and has recently won the New Zealand Travel Industry Awards.

Blue Adventures is a Worksafe accredited Adventure Activity Operator and currently the only IKO-affiliated Kite Centre in the Auckland region.

Our kite surfing instructors are trained to teach using IKO's safe progressive method and our kiteboarding courses are IKO certified.

We’re all about providing a personalised and exciting experience. Our dedicated instructors are passionate about what they do and will provide you with a safe and fun way to learn water sports. We believe in customer satisfaction and our teaching technique has proven to be extremely successful. Small groups, step-by-step instructions and our up to date equipment will ensure you progress easily and safely.

We operate in locations in the wider Auckland region. Being a fully mobile kitesurfing school means we will be at the best location for the conditions.

Our Watersports School operates 7 days/ week.

Our physical store is located at 327 Omaha Flats Road, right next to the Omaha estuary.

Visit us to check out the latest range of kitesurfing, foilboarding, SUP and surf equipment, wetsuits and swim- and beach wear.

You can also sign up for our watersport lessons and SUP and surf board rentals in-store.

At just one hour north of Auckland, the Omaha estuary provides fantastic conditions for our kitesurfing, SUP and wakeboarding lessons, and close-by Omaha beach is a great open ocean surf and kite beach.

Tepee is located a short five minute drive from Matakana Village and less than ten minutes from Omaha Beach. Surrounded by pine and native trees, Tepee's setting invites you to unwind, unplug and re-connect with nature.  Combined with our watersport activities a stay at Tepee makes a perfect weekend escape. Find out more at
