Owned and run by adventure-lovers Tony and Nina, Blue Adventures is recommended by Tripadvisor and has recently won the New Zealand Travel Industry Awards. 

 

Blue Adventures is a Worksafe accredited Adventure Activity Operator and currently the only IKO-affiliated Kite Centre in the Auckland region. Our kite surfing instructors are trained to teach using IKO's safe progressive method and our 2- and 3-Day kite courses are IKO certified.

 

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We’re all about providing a personalised and exciting experience. Our dedicated kitesurfing and stand up paddleboarding instructors are passionate about what they do and will provide you with a safe and fun way to learn these amazing water sports. We believe in customer satisfaction and our teaching technique has proven to be extremely successful. Small groups, step-by-step instructions and our up to date equipment will ensure you progress easily and safely while learning these addictive sports! OUR OMAHA WATERSPORT CENTRE

Our Omaha Watersports Centre is located on the waters edge of the Omaha estuary on the beautiful Matakana Coast, just one hour north of Auckland. The Omaha estuary provides fantastic conditions for our kitesurfing, SUP and wakeboarding lessons. 

 

Located 60 kms north of Auckland, the Matakana Coast is famous for its beautiful coastline, stylish cafes, restaurants, markets, vineyards, unique galleries and of course it's white-sand surf beaches. The Matakana Coast boasts of beautiful location for freestlye and wave kitesurfing, SUP and wakeboarding. With uncrowded beaches and kilometres of unspoiled pristine coastlines, Matakana offers perfect conditions for water sports.

 

THE NAISH NZ DEMO CENTRE OREWA

Thanks to Naish NZ we are also able to use the Naish NZ Demo Centre in Orewa for our Demo Days. The Naish Demo Centre is located right across the road from Orewa beach, a fantastic location for kitesurfing and stand up paddle boarding. If you are thinking of purchasing a Naish kite package, we highly recommend you get in touch with us- we are New Zealand's biggest supplier of Naish Kiteboarding equipment! The Naish NZ Demo Centre is open by appointment only.

 

OUR FULLY MOBILE WATERSPORTS SCHOOL

Are you looking for kitesurfing lessons in Auckland City? No problem- We run lessons in locations from Auckland City to the Matakana Coast. Being a fully mobile kitesurfing school means we will be at the best location for the conditions. Our Kite School operates 7 days/ week.

TEPEE GLAMPING MATAKANA

Connected by wooden walkways we have have set up three tepee sites on large circular timber platforms. Tepee is located a short five minute drive from Matakana Village and less than ten minutes from Omaha Beach.
